I wrote this song on a random piano I found near a bus stop back in 2018. I was writing a lot of poetry as a way of getting over my parent's divorce, being homeless for a period of time. It's about alienation, apathy, depression and finding escape through friendship all while making sense of "other" relationships. Just hanging out at the "hobbit hole" next to the Murray river with my friends and getting stoned.

Old thought patterns, the paradigm shakes.
I feel as though I lost my way.
Jonesing everyday and I need to.

Sometimes you can't go home.

We could be so much more .

With these social creatures, who can't understand.
Or perceive this, world through another lens.
Alienated like a switch turned off.
